A signed agreement and non-refundable retainer are required to secure your event date. Dates are not held without both items received. The remaining balance is due prior to the event date as outlined in your invoice.
Ember & Glass provides mobile bartending services, including bar setup, service, and curated beverage experiences. Unless otherwise specified, alcohol is supplied by the client in accordance with Ontario regulations.
The client is responsible for obtaining any required permits or licenses (including Special Occasion Permits, if applicable) and ensuring compliance with all applicable laws. Ember & Glass staff reserve the right to refuse service to any guest who appears intoxicated or underage in accordance with Smart Serve Ontario guidelines.
The client is responsible for the conduct of all guests. Ember & Glass reserves the right to refuse service, adjust service, or end service early if guest behavior becomes unsafe, disruptive, or non-compliant with regulations. No refunds will be issued in such cases.
Final event details, including guest count, timing, bar service style, and menu selections, must be confirmed no later than 14 days prior to the event. Changes requested after this time may be subject to additional fees and availability.
The client agrees to provide adequate access to the venue, including a safe and level setup area, sufficient setup and teardown time, and access to power if required. Delays due to venue restrictions or lack of access may impact service time.
All Ember & Glass equipment remains the property of Ember & Glass. The client is responsible for any damage, loss, or theft of equipment caused by guests or third parties during the event.
A non-refundable retainer is required at booking. The remaining balance is due prior to the event date as outlined in your invoice. Failure to complete payment may result in cancellation of services.
All retainers are non-refundable. Cancellations made within 30 days of the event may be subject to additional charges up to the full booking amount. Rescheduling is subject to availability and approval.
Ember & Glass maintains appropriate liability insurance for bartending services. The client agrees to assume responsibility for all guest-related risks and indemnifies Ember & Glass against any claims, damages, or incidents arising from guest behavior, alcohol consumption, or venue-related conditions.
Ember & Glass reserves the right to make reasonable adjustments to service, product offerings, or setup as required for safety, logistics, or compliance with venue or legal requirements.
Ember & Glass is not liable for failure to perform due to circumstances beyond its control, including but not limited to weather, venue issues, government restrictions, or emergencies.
Ember & Glass reserves the right to photograph and share event setups for portfolio and promotional use unless otherwise requested in writing by the client.
By booking with Ember & Glass, the client acknowledges and agrees to these terms and conditions.
